OUR STORY
It all started with a cat named Coco…
We are a husband and wife team with an immense passion for animals and keen interior enthusiasts. We had just newly renovated our apartment, but had one small issue which was the fact that our cat, ‘Coco’ didn’t have a living space that blended in with our décor and aesthetics. As a keen member of the family, and technically the “boss” of the house, we could not remove her beloved cat stand and throne (which had already been torn to shreds) from the living room. We eventually custom made our own cat stand for the living room and the rest is history.
In 2021, Jelico was born and since then we have been filling homes with beautifully hand crafted pet furniture pieces. Every year the product ranges have been growing and we have naturally expanded the collection to also include home decor and furniture items.
Our vision is to create integrated simplified living spaces for home owners and their pets.
OUR MISSION
ELEVATED DESIGN
By stripping away everything but the essential, we uncover the true meaning of each object we design to simplify and enrich life at home.
QUALITY CRAFTMANSHIP
Timeless pieces are perfected through holistic design explorations, meticulous, thoughtful, detailing, and mindful material selection. The result is enduring quality intended for everyday living
SUSTAINABILITY
Through carefully selecting materials, we try and reduce our environmental impact. The focus on quality craftmanship also ensures that the items last longer, decreasing the need for frequent replacements.
OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
We believe simplicity is the ultimate luxury. That the details matter.
Our brand identity is built on a deep philosophy of minimalist elegance and high quality designs. Timeless pieces are created though an intentional design approach and mindful material selection.
CRAFTED TO PERFECTION
The meticulous craftmanship of carpentry is at the heart of every piece we create. Each item, from dog beds to mirrors, is created with a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Unlike mass-produced furniture, each piece is handcrafted using traditional joining techniques, blending age-old methods like steam bending with modern innovation to achieve durability and aesthetic appeal.
